Dani and Jeanna met in the Big Apple (NYC) back in 2012! They were both auditioning for performing gigs while  working a side hustle at Ruby Tuesday Times Square. They realized that they had a lot in common and became instant buddies. They both went there separate ways when Jeanna returned to Disney Cruise Line for her 3rd contract and Dani maintained her career in NYC, while also dancing with different touring companies.

When Dani had discovered that Jeanna attended the same nutrition school, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she reached out and they both shared in their experience. Since then, they have helped each other with their Health Coaching careers, kept each other accountable on their goals, and had some laughs over the good ol' days when they thought they were cool.

Dani and Jeanna created the Onstage with Wellness Podcast because they believe they have knowledge to share around being well in the Performing Industry. So many fellow actors, singers, and dancers struggle with their health while trying to hustle in this industry. We became Health Coaches because of our ability to help people, be their best cheerleaders, and because we both have a passion for being holistically well. They hope to inspire other performers to value their bodies, their minds, and their souls while trying to navigate their craft. They share their best tips, tools, and stories around being well in the entertainment industry. Dani and Jeanna also have the occasional special guest to give a different perspective of success and health.

Listen in on our latest episodes to discover more about how you can be Onstage with Wellness, too.

Dani grew up in Sparta, New Jersey where she began her dance studies at an early age. She soon loved it so much that she joined a local competition dance team and later went on to study ballet more intensively. She furthered her studies at Interlochen Arts Academy for high school and earned her BFA in dance at Marymount Manhattan College in 2012. After graduation, Dani became a dancer, company manager, and marketing manager for Alyson Laury Dance Company and Suzzanne Ponomarenko Dance Company (SPD). She became a certified Bar Method Instructor and completely fell in love with the method and the strength it gave her as a performer. She performed nationally and internationally with Catapult Entertainment as a shadow dancer. She found a love for outreach with SPD performing and teaching in local nursing homes and in Xela, Guatemala with young women of domestic abuse. It was shortly after coming off tour with Catapult Entertainment that Dani found she had an interest in learning more about health and dealing with her digestive issues. She enrolled in The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and through that program became so passionate about wellness that she decided to create a career with her new certification. Since then Dani has created her company, Dani Nicole Wellness, and has coached dozens of women and men to break free from diet culture and learn how to eat intuitively to regain their confidence. She has run numerous group programs and hosted events for the Bar Method community sharing how to make healthy food and lifestyle changes that last. She is passionate about sharing this knowledge with her fellow performers so they can feel vibrant on and off the stage!

Jeanna was born a small town girl in the heart of Central Virginia. She was involved in singing and dancing since she was around 2 years old. Jeanna was involved in musicals, plays, Show Choir, dance teams, competition cheerleading, and ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes throughout her childhood. As soon as she graduated from high school, she was onto conquering NYC. Jeanna attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy for 2 years receiving a well-rounded education in musical theater while getting to experience the excitement of the Big Apple. Upon graduating from AMDA, Jeanna booked a job with Disney Cruise Line onboard the Disney Magic where she got to perform in numerous Broadway-like productions, be involved in media events, and experienced being a part of producing brand new shows for the Walt Disney Theater. She continued to work for Disney Cruise Line, performing on 3 out of 4 of their ships for 9 consecutive years. The opportunities that came along with being a part of the Disney company were once-in-a-lifetime. While sailing, Jeanna visited over 26 different countries and encountered rich and inspiring cultures that she will never forget. During this time at sea, she also received her BFA in Musical Theater and her certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Jeanna has always loved health and wellness, as well as making a different in the world, so by becoming a Health Coach she was able to combine both of these passions into one career. She now has her own practice, Jeanna Daniels Coaching, where she helps fellow performers find their own version of sustainable health while navigating a career in the arts. After so many years of trying to stay healthy while living on a ship with a lifestyle that was unpredictable and uncontrollable, she is able to guide others in the Entertainment industry through small lifestyle and nutritional shifts.  Jeanna is also working as a Key Leader at lululemon as their Vision and Goals Expert where she shares her knowledge of goal-setting with her team and the community. She is absolutely over the moon that she is able to do what she loves every single day and inspire others in the performing world towards their own version of health and success.
